Hi, I’m Alma—Spanish, flutist, filmmaker, and accidental producer. I grew up on classical music, started playing the traverso flute as a tiny kid, and even went to a conservatory in Madrid. These days, I live in Amsterdam (it’s been over 10 years now!) and I’ve fallen down the rabbit hole of electronic music. I’m teaching myself production through Ableton, figuring out how to make my flute sit comfortably next to synths, samples, and heavy beats. It’s messy, magical, and very me.

Hey, I’m Barry—born in Den Haag, currently floating around Amsterdam. I’ve been playing guitar and bass for over 21 years, toured with a bunch of bands, and basically lived on stages for a long time. These days, I’m also deep in the sound nerd zone: I run the studios at HKU in Utrecht, where I also teach audio engineering. I mix, master, and fix all the techy stuff behind the scenes of AlmabuenA… and occasionally make weird faces while playing basslines too hard.
